It is explicitly anti-capitalist and grounded in a material understanding of Black women's lives… We were not primarily focused on identity… We understood that oppression was systemic, that white supremacy, misogyny, and compulsory heterosexuality serve the economic interests of the ruling class. We staunchly believed in working in coalitions and did just that.”
